My account was hacked for a little over a month. I also got my "trusted contacts" to send me codes, but after I changed my password through that route I got a "you can't access that from here" message.ĭoes anyone know a good alternative to getting around the Code Gen 2FA, or any other way to reach support at Facebook? Appreciate any help with this. I e-mailed the account, and no response either. I've gone the route of verifying through my drivers license/ID, but not sure how long it will take for that to go through, it's already been 6 hours. I had previously enabled two-factor authentication on my account, but for it to send SMS texts to my phone number. However, I can't login on the facebook mobile app either, so I have no way of obtaining this code. I looked it up and this is something from the facebook mobile app. My account got hacked at 3am this morning, the hacker replaced my e-mail with theirs, and when I attempted to "secure" my account, it prompted me to enter a 6 digit code generated by "Code Generator", because that was what the hacker updated my user preferences to for two-factor authentication.
